
A discussion of mortgage fraud and foreclosure will be on the agenda of the Decatur Township Democrat Club when it meets June 9 at 5:45 p.m. The speaker will be Marion County Recorder Julie Voorhies. Voorhies has given the presentation at other locations and will be available to take questions from the membership or meeting attendees following their presentation. The club also plans to discuss and consider its new constitution at the meeting.
The meeting starts at 5:45 p.m. with a free, carry-in dinner provided by the club and its members. Voorhies will speak at 6:30 p.m. Candidates for office are welcome and will be given time to speak. Dues are just $5.00 per year per person, and you can join at any time. The club meets at Buffer Park Golf Course, 3825 Foltz St. in Decatur Township.
