Decatur Dems Meet March 14

Wear your green as the Decatur Township Democratic Club celebrates St. Patrick's Day three days early on March 14. The club will hold its March meeting at 6:30 p.m. with a free dinner provided by the club prior to the meeting at 5:45 p.m.

This month, in addition to the normal who's who of Marion County Democratic candidates, the club welcomes Steve Hoyt from the Carpenters Local 60 to address many of the union issues that are currently being debated downtown in Indianapolis including right to work (for less) legislation and collective bargaining protection. After Hoyt speaks at around 6:30 p.m., the club will address a few business issues.

The club meets at Buffer Park Golf Course, 3825 Foltz Street, in Decatur Township. Please bring non-perishable food items for donation to the George T. Goodwin Center's food pantry for distribution in our community. Club dues are just $5. Help us put the "D" in Decatur!
